Does anyone have a really good dairy salad but one without feta? Preferably a Ceasar one that is NOT particularly sweet.
TIA

I got this from this site, and love it! thanx to ra-mom who found it for me and old young for posting it:)
Avocado Dressing Salad - Binah Magazine
Dressing:
• 1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1/3 cup oil
• 1/3 cup water
• 1-1/2 - 3 Tbsp lemon juice
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce OR coarse black pepper
Salad:
• 1 bunch romaine lettuce, torn
• 1 (12-oz) box of grape tomatoes, sliced
• 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced black olives, drained (optional)
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese (optional - for dairy meals)
• 2 scallions, chopped
• 1 small pkg. terra sticks or other chips of your choice
Blend dressing ingredients until smooth. Layer salad ingredients; pour dressing over and sprinkle with chips.
(Original recipe called for 3 Tbsp lemon juice; I halve that, per OldYoung's suggestion. I use black pepper instead of hot pepper sauce. I omit the olives. And I only use cheese when serving a dairy meal.)
